Child Care Worker - Part time

providing high quality children's services. We are seeking an
experienced Child Care Worker for a part time position at Strathfield
Sessional Preschool working school terms. This is a permanent position
working Monday to Wednesday, 24 hours per week (8am to 4pm).
You would be joining an established team who work in a collaborative
and reflective manner. The program reflects the Early Years Learning
Framework and the Emergent Curriculum. Staff embrace the concept of
children being successful learners and being in a disposition to learn.
Staff are supported in their pursuit of the development of the
educational program.
Communicare Sydney provides
support to services including:
- Opportunities for
professional development
- Resources of a large non profit organisation with
over 150 staff
- Above regulation staffing,
in both number and qualifications
Essential
Criteria:
- Experience working in Children's Services
- Commitment to supporting the Christian ethos of the
organisation
- Demonstrated knowledge of child development for 3-5
year olds
- Good communication skills
- An ability to develop partnerships with families and
assist with planning implementing programs.
Desirable
Criteria:
- Certificate III in Children's Services
- Previous experience working in a preschool
