providing high quality children's services. We are currently seeking a
committed and experienced Coordinator for a full time maternity leave
position at St George Supported Playgroup Service which is a Families
NSW initiative.
This position will be responsible for the delivery of 8 supported
playgroups in the St George Area covering Hurstville, Rockdale and
Kogarah LGA's.
Your main role is to work within the playgroup setting to support
families. You will need to develop key links with families, health and
community services in the region so referrals and community awareness
is provided to families. The coordinator will be developing, managing
and supporting this family-focussed and strengths based service.
Experience working with children aged 0-6 is essential.

- A current NSW drivers licence Class C and own car
with comprehensive insurance

enthusiastic and experienced Child Support Worker for St George
Supported Playgroup which is a Families NSW initiative. This is a part
time position, 12 hours per week based in Rockdale and working within
the St George region of Sydney.
Your main role within the Supported Playgroup setting is to work with
parents/carers and children aged 0-6. Your role is to support families
increase the use of positive parenting, support early literacy, model
play based interactions and support families with simple parenting
advice. Programming age appropriate play is required at all sites. You
will co facilitate up ti 3 playgroups a week in partnership with the
Family Support Worker.
THe successful candidate must possess a certificate 3 or Diploma.
Workng with the cALD Community, experience within children's services,
a current first aid certificate and drivers licence is essential. You
will have good communication skills and be willing to assist with
planning and implementing of programs for children.
